So, I might be going home this weekend. Maria might be coming up this weekend. My sister might be coming home this weekend. I might be going to Carrie's birthday at Tyler Sheets' house as her date this weekend. I don't fucking know because NO ONE EVER FUCKING CALLS ME BACK ABOUT ANYTHING YES I'M LOOKING AT YOU MARIA!
Besides that life is super!
I spent an hour in my ENG 234 class going over the same fucking terms that the same fucking professor made me learn for the other English class I have her for. Then she used me repeatedly as an example of cognitive dissonance over and over again, because I was the only person in the class that had encountered deconstructionism before and definitely the only person who enjoyed it.
I don't think that it helped when she pulled in the house metaphor.
"Think of the book like a house... when you use deconstrucionism you take the house apart to the brick components... then you imagine what it would be like if you had used different windows...or different shingles... but not at the same time, and you don't rebuild the house."
She forgot to mention that this house is metaphorical and therefore no one has to go "deconstruct" any architecture for their projects. But I did get to verbally put the beat down on Mike Bressie when we were discussing the stuff. Several times. It was sweet. Oh, God it was sweet.
*A note on my mood: why are there no happy cynics? I'm very cynical but very cheerful.
